The Park, Saturday Afternoon

The day was gorgeous - sunny and crisp and cool, but not so cool that people would need coats or sweaters. There were some discrete space heaters set up for those who had chosen not to wear sleeves with their formalwear.

A light breeze was there to lift hair that wasn't pinned or sprayed into position. Birds sang. Chairs were set up, divided by a long center aisle. There was even a small section towards the front with little piles of nuts and bottles of rum - Vala and Barney had both done radio at one time or another, plus it just made sense to make nice to the squirrels.

The wedding party had yet to take their places, so the atmosphere was open and relaxed, if a bit anticipatory.

[ooc: Open to all, but please wait for OCD is now complete!]

Marion was highly amused by the fact that she was walking down the aisle with Robin. The twenty-first century was different indeed.

"...I've never been a best man before," Robin admitted. "Should I be offering you my arm?"

"Um. Normally I'd say yes but I'm not sure about the girl-girl rules when it comes to walking down an aisle," Marion said. "Don't worry; I won't be insulted if you don't want to."

"See, that's my thought," Robin mused. "Not that I think you have cooties or anything."

"Oh no, no, it's fine," Marion said, grinning. "But if I trip I fully expect you to try to catch me."

"If you trip, I will try to catch you," Robin promised. "And then I will laugh."

"You can laugh all you want; I just don't want to fall on my face," Marion said, nodding.

"That part usually comes after the wedding," Robin said, nodding. "Open bar, all that."

"Liquor I can handle. Heels not so much," she replied. "It will be fun seeing everyone else get drunk though."

She didn't really know who "everyone else" was but it was always fun to see drunk people.

"Isn't that why we're bartenders?" Robin asked with a grin. "Drunk people are hilarious."
