Turtle & Canary; Tuesday [ 11/11 ]

Since she wasn't around Saturday for her own shift, Turtle definitely didn't mind covering for Jan today while he was a little...indisposed. It gave her a chance to do some much needed reorganizing of the place, as all the Christmas stuff was coming in and she needed to get it out there. When she wasn't struggling with fake trees of obscene colors (really, who in the heck wanted a pink glittery Christmas tree, ugh! when they normally were such nice shades of green?), she was behind the counter, ticking off inventory lists and trying to decide on what her Thanksgiving plans were going to be.

She was pretty sure she didn't want to repeat last Thanksgiving.

Jeff should never, ever be around turkey.

Today's Squishy flavors: Grape Judas, Wintergreen, Banana Berry Splash

Turtle & Canary is open!

When Tully came in, and found, not a Unicorn, but a young woman, he grinned. So the alien had been messing with him afterall.

"I'm looking to get a head start on my thanksgiving shopping." he said. "If the weather's good enough I might try a barbeque up at the Lighthouse."

"Let's start with the grill." he decided. He mentally added an outdoor grill to the list of things to restore/build on the property.

"Lead the way." Tully said with a grin. Ah to be young and tireless again.

While the very expensive one was impressive, it wasn't quite what he needed, all those bells and whistles. Not, of course, that he was going to settle for the cheapest.

"How much would it cost to order one of those?" he asked of one of the models she'd mentioned.

And that all sounded good to him. "I'll go with that one then."

"Sounds good. I'll also need some charcoal, and the actual food, but I can do that closer to the day I suppose."
