Try as he might, he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened on this island a year ago. He should be thankful to be healthy, glad that most of his friends had made it through that week alive. Most...

"You brought me food!" He hadn't even thought about lunch, but realized now he was quite hungry.

"It packed well. And I haven't seen you for a while."
He looked around the shop for a moment.
"May I come in?"

Not that he had a dust cloth.

"Sounds nice, no winter. Kiamo Ko could get blistering cold. Not as bad as up in the Glikkus or some of the spots up in Gilikin which can get Ozdamned cold," and he realized after a moment Andrew knew as such, "as you know. But grassland or not, we bundled up.
"I used to hate this weather, but it's not so bad now."

"Chicken, rolled omelette, fried rice, and a rice cake dessert," he offered as he got to the jars.

"Henry was great. I'm sorry I couldn't stick around longer to hang out with you guys."
no subject
"Nah," he said, with a wave of his hand. "He had to catch a plane, anyway. Didn't stay very long that night." A slowly spinning shelf caught his eye for a moment. Pretty over-the-top in his opinion. He looked back at Andrew. "You wanna maybe do something this weekend?"
