G'Kar was behind the counter, writing out several things in his journal. He was working on putting some further thoughts and observations together.

Apu was around, cleaning and organizing the shelves.

Bob the SquishyBot was minding his own business, trying to ignore Liz the robot dog who suddenly decided she had a crush on Bob.

Tully came in, a smirk on his face.

G'Kar smirked back. "Good day to you. How can I assist on this fine day?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I checked the place out on Tuesday. No unicorn."

"What?" That was a surprise.

"Jan must have not been feeling well that day. I should check up on him."

What the hell. It might be true, and even if not, Tully could play along. "You should do that. The girl who was here was very helpful though."

"Would that have been Turtle?"

"Could be, we were never actually introduced. Wait, a kid is half owner of this place?"

"Yes," he nodded. "Turtle Wexler. She is my business partner. In fact, she was the sole owner until I purchased half of the stock shares."

"Huh, enterprising girl. Hopefully she won't go psychotic."

He raised an eyeridge slightly. "And why would you think such a thing?"

"I've seen it happen. One of my ex-bosses was a very enterprising person. She was also a complete psychopath though. On the other hand other's I've known turned out just fine."

"I have not seen any such behavior in Turtle. So I believe we are safe," he nodded in assurance.

"That's good. She sure seemed to be the type to turn out okay. Thelma Barston was never that nice."

"Yes, Turtle is quite an impressive young woman. I enjoy working with her immensely."

"Is Turtle her real name?"

He just looked at Tully for a moment.

"And what would you think?"

"Ordinarily I wouldn't think so. But given this place? It could be."

He chuckled. "A good point. However, Turtle is just a nickname." He placed a hand on his chest, "I've been swore to secrecy upon the souls of my people not to reveal her true name to anyone."

Not really, it just seemed like a good thing to say.

"Well then I won't press the issue." Tully grinned. "Who are your people by the way?"

"A wise decision," he smirked. "My people are Narn. It is the name of the world from which we are from. It is quite far from here."

Something occured to Tully then. "Do humans confuse you? Cause sometimes we just baffle the hell out of me."

He smirked. "Oh, quite often. But I have grown used to it and thus return the favor."

Tully laughed. "Turnabout is fairplay afterall. It just occured to me that we live on Earth, but call ourselves Humans. But most Aliens I've heard of, which granted, were fictional, called themselves after their planet, like you."

"An interesting observation indeed. Why do you suppose that is?"

G'Kar thought it might be because Humans liked to be contrary. He'd come to think of it as being in their nature.

"I'm not sure. I've heard us referred to as Earthlings, which would make sense but in the movies it's only the Aliens that call us that."

"Perhaps one could make a life-long study of why Humans refer to their home planet as Earth and not Human. Or themselves as Earthlings."

"Maybe it would help to unravel the mystery of Humans."

"It might. Or maybe the minute someone figures us out, we'll do something else even more inexplicable."

He laughed. "Yes, that would just like you."

it's early, I'm still on #1 cup of coffee, therefore I blame this post on those facts
