The Boards - Rehearsal - Tuesday, 11/25

Geoffrey, having not!celebrated Thanksgiving sometime earlier, wasn't thinking of the holiday coming up, but of the fact that he felt that they were just about ready for dress rehearsal. Thankfully, the makeup had arrived, as well as the costumes which were of a decent quality of cloth if not particularly flashy (which he liked, considering they would probably last through some tailoring for different actors as well as a few modifications). As such, he stood in front of the cast as soon as they were assembled.

"Short rehearsal today," he said as he smiled at them, "as we'll be covering how to do stage makeup, for those who don't have a clue, as well as figuring out who's going to be wearing what out of our totally moddable costumes here. Next week dress rehearsal and the week after that? We're going to have previews. As such, we'll also be figuring out dates for the actual performance, I know, you weren't even thinking of it. So... well, let's get to."

He's set up a few mirrors for people to work on it and there are instructions in the packages, but he's happy to help. And heck, if you've been in a production, you can help too!

Cal rubbed his chin a little, looking at the make-up, and then glanced toward wherever Tennant was. "I know how to work stage make-up," he said, knowing that he'd know from last play. "Okay if I kind of skip it today?"

That stuff was a bitch to get off; he didn't need shit on his face for his date later.

Her costume for Halloween might just actually work for this play. She might have to tone it down a bit, but maybe. She was going through the costumes here anyway, just to see if she found anything better.

Hinata quietly considered her options. For Mia, she thought, she didn't want anything too exciting--but nothing drab either. Quiet elegance.

Geoffrey put some of the chairs in a circle.

"We've got to figure out when we can perform this thing. Last time we did two weeks with three performances but I figure, with the bake sale, two performances for two weeks should do the trick."

Amber sat, doodling on a notepad, listening to others when they had something to say. She was easy; it didn't much matter to her how things went.

Looking kind of shifty, Amber wanted to talk to Cal, so she stood around, waiting to see if he was going to hang around or not if he was there at all, la!.

For as antsy as he seemed to get out of rehearsal, Cal still seemed to be dawdling a little before really taking off once everything was said and done.
