Marion showed up to work on time and made herself a strong Jack and coke before getting to work. You needed to be at least a little buzzed before you taped up those zombies.

Her plan of going out last night had ended up getting tossed out, so Saturday evening found Angela in Caritas. There really weren't many places more interesting to go on an island this size.

She hopped onto a stool and settled in with her elbows on the bar.

"Hi," Marion greeted with a smile. "What can I get you?"

The cold was not helping his mood or his foot. Tully needed a drink or twelve.

Angela grinned back. "Cosmo," she decided after a beat. "Please." Drinks with Angela were probably more often than not picked on a whim, or by what color they came out as.

"Do you actually work here?" It was hard to tell, since the people behind the bar usually didn't in her experience.

"Uh, yeah. Have been since October," Marion said as she was making Angela's drink. "Why, do I not look like a bartender?"

Angela considered her a moment, and shrugged. "Not specifically, just nine out of ten times I get served by someone who isn't," she said easily. "Thought I should ask."

"Oh. Well, you've got somebody that actually knows what they're doing today," she said, sliding the Cosmo over. "I'm Marion."

"Sounds like a plan," Marion said with a smile. "Rum and coke, coming up."

"I'm Angela," she added in return.

Marion thought she looked awfully young.

"Fine, I suppose. Got through Thanksgiving without incident. That's always good," Marion said. She sat down the rum and coke in front of Tully. "What about you?"

Angela nodded, then glanced at her drink. "But my ID is legit and says I'm twenty nine," she added helpfully. The joys of time travel.

"Well, I stepped on a nail a few days ago, and I had a cookout on Thanksgiving, and nobody came. On the other hand my horse apparently missed winter when we were living in the tropics so he's having a wonderful time."

Marion smirked. "Oh honey, I don't care how old you are. It's not like you're going to be driving anywhere on this island. I'd rather not go by what our ID's say. If that were the case I'd be 99 years old."
