Caritas - Saturday Evening [Open]
Marion showed up to work on time and made herself a strong Jack and coke before getting to work. You needed to be at least a little buzzed before you taped up those zombies.

Band
Re: Band
The opening chords sounded to Stand By Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX--7gFHkU0), and she began, using the phrase in its most approximate and all-encompassing way, to sing along: she missed every note, came in too soon or too late on every line, and misread most of them, despite how often she'd done it.
No one could accuse Daisy of not being passionate about it, though.
Re: Band
This was kind of better even if she wasn't the best singer. He wasn't a fucking music critic so he didn't care.
Between peals of laughter and the occasional duck of his head to hide that laughter, he whistled and then, once she'd finished, stood up and clapped loudly.
Re: Band
Today, he was going to sing a fucking song. Yeah, he was amazed too.
As soon as the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We8P_Ww27hY) kicked in, he regretted the choice because, goddammit, this meant movement and he really couldn't not move to this song.
So, he did. The movement was too bad, he was agile and mobile enough but that meant he missed so many fucking words, inserted words that weren't meant to go there, missed notes, switched words, crooned when he should have drawled and screeched when he should have...well, not screeched.
But, the movement was pretty damn good. He'd always had good hips, at least. The voice, that was another fucking story.

Bar
Re: Bar
She hopped onto a stool and settled in with her elbows on the bar.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
"Do you actually work here?" It was hard to tell, since the people behind the bar usually didn't in her experience.

"Hello, Marion," Indy said as he approached the bar. "Any chance you have some good whiskey back there?"
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
He held up his fingers to show what at least be at least one serving of booze then thought better of it and doubled the amount.
"That much, if you don't mind. How've you been?"
Re: Bar
"Pretty good. Managed to make a Thanksgiving dinner Mutt approved of. He's going through a picky food stage," Marion said, sliding the tumbler of whiskey towards Indy. "What about you?"
