Caritas - Tuesday Evening [Open]

Marshall had come in early today because he had a birthday party to set up for. Sam was a favorite student of his and he was happy to help him out. He was slightly disappointed that the party was for Peter and not Lucas, however. The poor boy must be crushed.

Oh well, there's gonna be cake. That will make anybody feel better.

[Wait for OCD please up!]

Tully was feeling maybe a little down for the holidays, missing his friends down in the islands. But he wasn't going to sit in the hotel and sulk. He decided to come and drink instead.

He nodded to Marshall. "Evening. What's all the fuss in the lounge?"

"They have their birthday parties in a bar?" Tully shook his head. "Where was this place when I was in school?"

Wasn't there supposed to be a sort of holiday during Christmas? Daisy, feeling a little beat with an overload of work, half of which didn't even make any sense, desperately needed a duck into the bar for a bit to relax as the mun clung to Intrawebz. She took a seat, ordering up her usual vodka and orange and just finally felt like she had a chance to breathe.

"Merry Christmas if you celebrate it." Tully said to the pretty young lady. "Bah Humbug if you don't."

"Awww," Daisy chuckled a little, finding it hard to imagine why anyone wouldn't want to celebrate Christmas, or at least some holiday at this time of year, and wished she'd actually had more time to celebrate it. But she lifted her glass with a nod, and a sip. "Happy Christmas to you, too."

"Haven't been this cold in December for a few years." The drink helped warm him.

"Bit of a climate shift here, is it?" Daisy guessed.

The fact that Sam hadn't accidentally said anything about the party was kind of a miracle considering how hopeful he was that Peter would be happy. As much as he didn't like to lie to Peter, it was for a good cause if it meant getting him to Caritas.

"Mr. Eriksen likes me. I wouldn't be surprised if he gives us our drinks for free," Sam said as he led Peter inside.

"Well, you might have to sing," Sam teased. "No one wants to hear me."

"So not really free," Peter pointed out.
