Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee looked downright giddy tonight as Tino started to take down all of the Christmas decorations. Honestly, Tino had never seen his boss so happy.

And then he started putting up the New Year's decorations.

"DAMMIT! I can't wait until next weekend!" Jolee yelled.

And Tino smiled.

[OOC: I'm around! And not sick and therefore unlikely to fall asleep during the middle of the evening!

ETA: And I'm going to sleep. I'll pick up pings in the morning.]

Of course, the zombies were still dressed up for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, and the birthday of Baseball Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk, respectively.

Where Tino - who had tried to convince the bass player to go with Ozzie Smith instead of Fisk - and Jolee - who hated everyone working the bar tonight - were serving drinks.

With nothing better to do (and no expectations of vodka seeking women showing up at his door), Loki wandered down to the bar, took a seat and glared at Tino.

At some point in the evening, Tino came by with an almost violently pink cocktail for Loki with both a little umbrella in it and an olive pierced with a tiny plastic sword, but he was under strict directions not to disclose who had sent it over.

Not that it would be very difficult to figure it out if he took a look around, of course.

Mina sat at the bar, having finally come to investigate the accounts of Caritas' band.

She was actually both impressed and slightly horrified. For the meantime, she awaited being served.

Leave it to Daisy to be the type to go to a bar right after spending a mysteriously achieved weekend in London. "Wow," she commented as she settled into a stool. "There's actually people here tonight!"

Forget that she already knew at least half of them, therefor making it not seem as big a deal, but she was notably impressed.

Arya took a seat at the bar, eying the zombies. It wasn't so much that she was bothered by their being zombies, it was their attire that puzzled her.

Ghanima was still mildly perturbed she hadn't been able to get a portal home for the break, so she decided to wander down to the bar and do some people watching. Besides, the idea of drinking alone in her suite was far too depressing to contemplate.

She took one look around and grinned brightly as she took a seat. "Bless the Maker," she sighed, relieved. "Adults. I suppose they shipped all the children back to their parents for the holidays?"
