The Boards - CASTING - Thursday, 1/08
Geoffrey was grinning maniacally. To any sane and/or rational human being, this was most certainly not a good thing. But to anyone who was particularly interested in the theatre, it could mean only one thing.
CASTING CALL FOR HARRY V
Walk-ins welcome! No experience necessary! All ages, all sizes, all species!
And then back in he went to await some actors.
[ocd up!][and up for SP]

Casting
[if you want to get cast, this is where you want to go; please list in an OOC note on your tag whether you would like to get a part or no, as well as any role you might be interested in for character reasons]

Re: Casting
"Hello, Amber. And you've decided to play the Bringer Of Canned Meatproduct today why?"
It wasn't accusatory or annoyed, just very very confused.

She peeked in, then wandered down the aisle to where Geoffrey sat. "Hi. Do I need to have a prepared script or anything, in order to audition?"
Re: Casting
"Hi, my name is Geoffrey and this is the Boards, as I'm sure you saw. Familiar with the play at all?"

[Yes please cast Robin. I don't know the play enough to make a call on which character.]

Crew
[if you're looking to be crew, come HERE]
Re: Crew
Hopefully, this would go better than it did the last time. Evil fairies were probably a one-off problem, right?
"Are you looking for help with anything like lighting or sound?"

Was that answer enough?

"Hi! I was wondering if you needed someone to help make costumes. I make all my own clothes, so I'd love to help," she said.
Re: Crew
"Er, yes. We don't have a costume person so, yes. We could use help. We can use all the help we can get."
And then there was a mental image that assaulted him involving baked goods on people's heads and the last Harry V he'd worked with having very large ears and cinnamon buns and it wasn't good but mental illness wasn't sometimes.
"Do you have any familiarity with Shakespeare? Community theatre?"

OOC
Meta will officially be put up a little later, so I'll probably come up with it as I go along.
And depending on the turn out for the play (I don't see it coming up if there are lots of guys trying out), I am TOTALLY going to be crosscasting, so no worries about there being very few female roles.
Mmmm... St. Crispin's day speech.
