Ben bounced into the shop. "I saw the coolest thing ever today!"

"What?" Kaylee asked, nearly dropping her tools.

"There was a guy in the gym and he was dodging seven sharp flying things with two knives and his brain!" Ben babbled. "I've got to learn how to do that!"

"I think that sounds kind of scary," the correct character, WTF, SELF Kaylee said.

"Maybe a little," Ben finally admitted. "But it looked super shiny."

"I'd be scared for him," Kaylee replied, biting her lip. "I mean, he was okay, right?"

"Oh, completely," Ben said. "It was very obvious this wasn't his first time doing this. It was like a dance, really."

"Ooooooooh." Okay, that made it better. "Dances are shiny."

"Do you dance?" Ben asked.

She nodded gleefully. "Ned don't usually, so I just dance by myself at parties," she confessed.

"Granddad says there's not much difference between lightsaber battles and formal dancing," Ben said. "So I guess I dance, too."

"Except with dancin' you usually ain't tryin' to stab no one," observed Kaylee.

"Generally," Ben said with a laugh, "but your feet have to move while you're making eye contact."

"You gotta make eye contact?" she asked worriedly. "Ned an' I didn't, when we danced."

"Kind of?" Ben replied. "But maybe it's done differently here. I'm just not supposed to keep looking at my boots."

"Ned's so tall he put his head on mine," she admitted. "I thought it was romantical but maybe it was just wrong."

Ben's cheeks went pink. "I'm probably not the one to ask about that."

"You should do it with your girl! It's romantical," Kaylee assured him, beaming. "I stood on his feet, too."

"We'd probably tip over," Ben said.

"Not if you're careful-like," she said, shaking her head wisely.

"How much taller is he?" Ben asked. "Tahiri's pretty little."

"I come up to about his shoulder?" she offered. "He's a foot or so taller."

"She's not quite that little," Ben said. "I'm maybe a half-foot taller? A little more?"

"You could prolly rest your chin on her head if you tried!" Kaylee said excitably.

Ben laughed. "She also has pointy elbows," he said.

"How d'you know that?" Kaylee wondered, raising a brow.

"I'm not always the most polite person?" Ben admitted.
