Penelope hurried into work. She was running just a bit late due to a late nap. Having kept to her room all day, she fell asleep reading. But she was here and she was surprised to find the band dressed up and sporting long, dark brown wigs. They were also wearing... Penelope blinked. Maid uniforms?

Caritas is open.

Where Penelope is being entertained by the band.

Hurley sat down and patted the bar in a little drumming pattern. He waited patiently, a smile on his face.

When she saw him, she fixed him a Coke first before she greeted him. "Good evening, Hurley."

"Hey, you read my mind," Hurley said. "Awesome."

"It's what you always get," she replied with a light shrug of her shoulders. "I will now be surprised if you ever order anything different."

"I guess I just like Coke," Hurley said. "Don't worry, I won't try to freak you by getting anything else."

"Freak me?" she asked.

"Like, freak you out?" Hurley said. "Scare you? My slang isn't so weird, is it?"

"You wouldn't freak me out by getting anything different, Hurley," she assured him with a wry smirk.

"I dunno," Hurley said. "I think I'd freak me out."

"That I might like to see," she said, grinning.

"You want to see me freaked out?" Hurley chuckled. "That's not really nice."

"No, it isn't. But it would be amusing," she teased.

"Well, you'll have to keep spending time with me. Being surprised isn't exactly something I can plan," Hurley said.

"You're my best friend, Hurley. Spending time with you is not difficult," she said.

"You haven't hung out with me after a three bean burrito," Hurley joked.

"What happens after that?" she asked, innocently enough.

Hurley paused. Penelope really did seem from a different world sometimes. "Gas?"

Her eyes bugged and her cheeks turned pink.

She did not want to picture Hurley with gas. Ew.

"Ew."

Mary was chilling out in the lounge, sipping club soda and occasionally clapping and singing along with the band. She looked like she was having a great time.
