Around town, Sunday night
Blah blah, secret identity blah.
After last night, Buffy was just wandering around town with her crossbow. That would be in addition to an array of stakes and holy water vials and the usual hidden on her person. What? That was two fights last night, with two different types of bad guys.
So color her conspicuous. After radio last night, if worse came to worse, she could probably claim it wasn't her or something.
[This is like three nights in a row for her or something, but damn it's fun. Open!]

"Is someone there?" she said, when she heard someone near.

See, caution.

She wasn't really making eye contact, but sort of... talking in Buffy's general direction.

There was now a crossbow bolt embedded in Lestat's chest.
And there was a very cranky Lestat, brat prince that he was, getting right up in Buffy's face as a result.
"You don't listen, do you? This is a good shirt! Have you any idea how much a tailor will cost me? So very few of them do business at night!"
no subject
"You hear that?" Buffy paused, listening. "It's the world's tiniest violin, playing just for you."
no subject
With the slightest undignified growl in the back of his throat, he tore the bolt from his chest. And he took a moment to mourn the velvet in his jacket. And another moment to mourn the lace in his shirt.
Okay. Moment gone.
"I know music," he informed her, and instead of throwing those almost playful punches he was tossing at her last night, he was going to attempt to grab her, instead. Her throat would be quite the prize, wouldn't it? "This? Is not music."
no subject
"Aww, are you upset I mocked you?" she asked, getting one hand over his to try and keep a little bit of distance while reaching in her coat with her other hand. She had no idea if holy water would have any effect on him, but she might just have to see. "'Cause I do that."
no subject
He raised an eyebrow.
"If you're reaching for another stake, I think I might have to hurt you."
Really. Just saying.
no subject
And if it didn't hurt him, at least she might make him bitch about his wardrobe more.
no subject
"And now I'm wet! You won't settle for putting holes in my clothing, you have to ruin it with-" And here, he was going to have to wager a guess. "With water? Holy water, no doubt!"
Children!
"I'm about this close to just throwing my arms in the air and storming away, you know. I should hardly give you the satisfaction of allowing you to ruin more of my finest clothings."
no subject
Still, it was fun pissing him off, as long as it didn't get anyone else hurt.
"But it's so much fun watching you throw fits like a twelve-year-old girl," she said, like none of this bothered her at all.
no subject
Actually, yes he did. Oh, Claudia would have enjoyed watching this, he was sure.
"What else do you have in there? Are you planning on shoving a silver crucifix smeared with garlic in my face, perchance? You might as well pull out all the stops, of course. You wouldn't want me doing something drastic like have dinner tonight."
