Ichigo made it into the shop after class and started his shift by feeding Jeremy a piece of candy bar. Ichigo wasn't even sure why he'd bought the damn thing as it was way too sweet to eat first thing in the morning. Jeremy had no objections however.

"Shoo!" Ichigo got up, but Jeremy didn't shoo, he just looked excited. "You're getting ruder and ruder," Ichigo scolded as he snagged up the bag and plopped down in his chair again.

"He just thinks he's loved," she said, giggling and leaning over to give him a part of her sandwich. "There you go, Jeremy."

Ichigo mumbled something about rats and love and grabbed another sandwich. "Maybe I should get him for your Valentine."

"I own a snake," she reminded him. "Rats and snakes shouldn't be sharing the same room."

"Right," he sighed. "Sorry, Jeremy," he apologised to the rat who had finished with his piece of sandwich and was looking around for more.

"How much does he eat?" she asked, amused but taking a bite of her sandwich. It was hers, after all.

"Too much for something so tiny," he eyed the rat warily. "He's just greedy."

"I'm starting to agree with you," she said, levelling a look at the rat.
