Movie Sign Theater 3000, Saturday evening

How John and Jaina hadn't made it to the movie theater in all this time was a mystery, though Jaina suspected it had something to do with never once making it through a movie in his room. Still, they'd felt like being daring and were attempting it anyway. The movie was supposedly even themed for the day and everything.

John loved him some overpriced candy and popcorn. "So, are we getting stuff to eat or to throw at the movie when it sucks?"

"Think we're actually going to do anything with it?" she asked, looking around. The inside of a movie theater was strangely the thing that reminded her the most of Coruscant on this planet. It had to be all the bright lights and signs.

"The talking concessions don't lie," John nodded, heading to the counter and ordering some. "Again, candy? If there's a day for chocolate, this is it."

"True." She assumed. And then she looked in the case again and said, "Of course, I don't think things called Sno-Caps and Goobers quite do anything romantically."

John settled in a seat in the middle of the theater. "We've never done this before, have we?"

"We haven't," she said, sitting next to him. "It's always been your room or no movie."

"Have you ever done this?" Because of course John had, but there were months Jaina was on Earth before he met her.

"I've seen the holos in cinemas back home, but it's my first time here," Jaina said. "Have you?" Yes, she knew he must have.

"Uh huh," he nodded. "Tons of times, but this will be special, and not just because of the terrible-looking movie."

After leaving the theater like ten minutes into the movie or whatever, Jaina led the way to find somewhere that wasn't really going to be crowded. Even if it did mean sneaking into the little room marked "Employees Only." Details.

"Good enough?" she asked.

"Assuming no employees are around to interrupt us, it works just fine for me," John grinned.

"We should have warning," she said, what with that little person-detector she had going. You know, if she wasn't completely distracted. Either way, she leaned up to kiss him again.

Finding that answer sufficient, he bent down to meet her, arms encircling her back and moving to pull her closer.

Sending a little push towards the door to make sure it was definitely shut, she was happy to move closer, thinking this might be her favorite movie ever.
