Caritas - Tuesday Evening [Open]

Marshall was not in the best of moods when he opened Caritas today. He knew getting drunk was not the answer to his, ahem, bedroom problems so he decided to channel his frustration into cleaning the bar instead.

So that's what he was doing. Cleaning the bar like it was his job. Well. It was his job. He was just actually doing it today.

Mina sat next to said berserker, a smile on her face. "Mr. Minsc, I hope you are well this evening?" she greeted.

"Lady Wilhelmina!" Minsc greeted her back with a smile and a lift of his mug, before he took a refreshing swig. "I certainly am! Are you well this evening, too?"

"You got it, Minsc," Marshall told him. "How are you doing?"

"I'm...tense," Marshall admitted as he sat down the ale and water. "Just stressed out. It's not big deal."

Pepper slid easily onto the barstool, having never been here on a Tuesday and thus not recognizing the bartender. "Grey Goose martini with extra olives, please."

"Yeah, yeah, coming up," Marshall said, slightly irritated at the fact that he had to stop alphabetizing the scotch.

"...I could get something easier, if that's a problem," Pepper said, raising an eyebrow.

"No, it's fine. I can make a martini," he said, pulling out the vodka that he had just finished alphabetizing. "It's my job, after all."

He hated being this irritated but, dammit, he couldn't help it.

Mina had come to Caritas mainly for her meeting with Minsc, though she'd welcome other company as well.

She sat at the bar, in her usual spot. "I think, just cranberry juice tonight," she said.

Lily had been productive today after class. Productive in that she went to the mainland and back and then came to Caritas with a discreet-looking brown paper bag in hand.

"So I've been thinking," she said.
