The Park [Monday morning]
It had taken Jack a few days to negotiate his release from the insane rodents who'd captured him. They didn't recognize "parley" as a concept...okay, that wasn't true. It'd taken a few days for Jack to figure out how to undo the knots they'd tied him up with (he'd been a little distracted with how squirrels learned to tie knots at all). And now he was sneaking his way stealthily around town.
Through a park.
That had trees.
Where squirrels lived.
This plan could've been better.

His hair was still far too shiny.
But at least he had all his weapons back.

"Squirrels kept you captive," Indiana said dryly. "Where'd they keep you? In a tree?"
