Caritas - Wednesday, 3/4

Penelope was drinking beer and watching the band. She was rather listless this evening and wished for a slow evening.

So far in her young life, wishes had not been particularly kind to her. She was not one to complain, however, and would just drink her beer, watch the weird band, and think about what she was going to do tomorrow.

Caritas is open.

Hurley wanted to come in, to see how Penelope was. But... he didn't want to cause a scene or anything.

Hence, his clever disguise of a fez and fake mustache.

It totally disguised him. Really.

"Who?" Priestly looked around. "Penelope? Do you really think she's gonna be fooled by a fez and a mustache?"

"Alrighty, Jose," Priestly said, exaggerating the accent on the fake name. "You realize the fez is actually more of a Turkish hat, right?"

"Dude, I have a mustache. I'm... one of those Shriner guys. My little car is parked out back. Yeah," Hurley said, making this up on the spot.

"Uhhhh, hello, miss," Hurley said, in a terrible accent. "I am Jose. I am visiting this island."

She decided to go along with him. "Good evening, Jose. You are touristing then?"

Penelope blinked. And then she bit her lip.

This was terribly hard on her heart.

"H-have you seen many beautiful sights?"

Hurley saw her bite her lip. "Ohhh, man. This isn't working is it?" he said, dropping the accent.

Daisy was thinking she needed just a little mid-week pick-me-up to help her get to the weekend (come on Friday!), so she came in, picked up a vodka and orange and just tilted her head a little in amused intrigue at the kid with the fez.

Cunning hats really were all the rage here, weren't they?
