Luke's Diner, March 15 (Sunday)
Lacey didn't usually go down to staff the diner herself on Sundays, but with the reports of all the little kids running around she kind of wanted to get in there and have some fun with them.
. . . Lacey's track record of good ideas wasn't exactly stellar.
She'd set up a stack of booster chairs and lots of coloring placemats and crayons, and the old buffet table had been wheeled out and arranged with all kinds of kid-friendlymoddable food.
As for Lacey herself, she was bouncing around, beaming, and not at all unlike a little kid herself.
[OOC: Open, OCD free, and if you want to traumatize the woman with a phobia of balloons I'll love you forever.]

"Lacey! Lacey! Hi hi hi," Dinah said, holding her hands behind her back. "I got a surprise! Guess!"

She wandered up to the counter, hopping up onto her tipetoes and resting her arms and chin on it to look over at Lacey. "Can I have coffee?"
Hopefully this lady would be more accommodating in that respect than the guy with the baseball cap.
"... Please?"

Tact and Lacey were not friends often. Today wasn't one of those days.
Figured.

He came running in holding a bunch of strings (five) that were trailing red and blue balloons.
"HI!"
Oooh! Hot dogs! He made a beeline for the buffet table and quickly shoved one in his mouth. Minus the bun, of course.
