The Lighthouse, Wednesday March 18
Murdock was in a cheery good mood today. He'd spent all day yesterday watching TV and munching on the free cereal.
It was a wonder he didn't have a sugar hangover, really.
Work seemed to be going well on the lighthouse. Definitely a noticable improvement over the condition it used to be in.
Bouncing along, Murdock skipped from one job to another, humming and whistling and sometimes even singing as he went.
...perhaps someone was still hopped up on sugar.
(oh so very open!)

"Oh hey!" he grinned. "I can't wait to start on that. That's the most fun part!"

"Uh, no not really. This would be a first. Restored other stuff though."

"Let's see," he started going through fingers, "helped fix up a diner, built a meetin' house for a religious group, fixed up a fishin' boat, did some work on a bed an' breakfast, some fixin' up at a hotel ... dude, you'd like that one. Nice beach hotel, nice beach, nice ocean," he grinned, "nice girls in bikinis."
"Uh, what else? Oh yah, repaired a chinese restaurant after it was torn up by some Tong guys, a soft drink bottlin' plant, helped fix up an old apartment building, turned an old warehouse into a homeless mission ... and that's not includin' anything we did with vehicles."
Yah, the team had done quite a lot in their line of work. Including taking out the bad guys, of course.

The whole insanity thing puts a limit on a lot of things.

"A fugitive? Really? What for?"

"Why'd you do that for? I mean, what the heck did they do?"
Tully didn't seem like the kind of guy to go off over nothing.

"What kind of attitudes? Like the 'get what they want no matter what or who gets in the way'?"
Murdock was fimiliar with those. And he didn't like them one bit.

"Can't say that I have. They catch up with you?"

"I got picked up by some bounty hunters once, figured they could use me to get to my buddies." He smirked. "They got more than they bargained for."

"Too bad we couldn't stick around to see their faces when the MPs collected 'em. That woulda been a hoot."
