The Lighthouse, Wednesday March 18

Murdock was in a cheery good mood today. He'd spent all day yesterday watching TV and munching on the free cereal.

It was a wonder he didn't have a sugar hangover, really.

Work seemed to be going well on the lighthouse. Definitely a noticable improvement over the condition it used to be in.

Bouncing along, Murdock skipped from one job to another, humming and whistling and sometimes even singing as he went.

...perhaps someone was still hopped up on sugar.

Murdock had to think for a minute. Wasn't those bozos that had snagged him.

"Can't say that I have. They catch up with you?"

"A few times. I managed to get out of dodge each time though. I've had the good luck to make very good friends."

He grinned. "Oh yah, friends are great for that. Seems we do got a few things in common."

"I got picked up by some bounty hunters once, figured they could use me to get to my buddies." He smirked. "They got more than they bargained for."

"Don't you love it when that happens to the bad guys. The look on the Stilltons the second time they caught up to me was priceless."

"Dude, I can imagine. Those bozos thought they had us between a rock an' a hard place, next thing they knew, it was lights out for 'em."

"Too bad we couldn't stick around to see their faces when the MPs collected 'em. That woulda been a hoot."
