Feeling the embarrassment of last night even more heavily than before, Turtle had gotten up fairly early to get to work in kind really!, with the hopes to lose herself a little in her work. Maybe she could just spend all day with the comfort of the technicalities of business to distract her from way too much to think about.

It was, of course, to be a very vain hope.

She did, however, frown when she came in and saw Apu was there already, too, sweeping the floor.

"Do you...ever leave this store?" she asked, but waved her hand, heading to the counter, since she didn't really care about the answer.

She's hoping for a quiet day, but, of course, even without any clue of what was going on this weekend at first, she was smart enough not to really expect it.

A very polished boy with a sharp demeanor to match his sharp blue eyes pushed open the door to the familiarly named shop and strode up to the counter.

"Ah," he said, "there you are, Mother."

Sandy frowned a little. "I know you don't see me much, Mother, bu--"

He stopped, blinking. "Oh! That was a joke, right?" He chuckled. "Because you don't see me much. I get it. That's good, Mother."

"Hey, Mom," Alice said, drifting into the store and going straight for the SquishyBot. It was totally cool; her mom owned the place, she could have as many Squishies as she wanted.

...right into a stacked display of soup cans, which came crashing down all around Trip.

Turtle winced at the sound of tumbling, rolling soup cans. She closed her eyes tight, tried to take in a breath.

"Trip," she said. "You okay?"
