Given the events of the week, Robin was working her way through a bottle of Scotch.

(Okay -- let's be honest. She didn't need a reason to drink. But when she had one, she was taking it, thank you.)

However, in a fit of whimsy, she was also playing with the tiny umbrellas -- putting them in her hair, stacking them, putting them in all the drinks.

Well. "Fit of drunkenness" might be better.

"Love the umbrellas in your hair," Hope said to the bartender. "Have you considered making a vaguely abstract art out of all the umbrellas yet?"

No, she didn't know why she was encouraging the woman.

"I kind of thought of that," Robin said thoughtfully, nodding and allowing an umbrella to fall out of her hair. "But Tino'd probably just wreck it."

"Not if you glue them together and put it up where he can't get to it," Hope reasoned.

And that? Would be Tino giving hope a dirty glare.

"I can do that!" she said, wide-eyed. "Tino, be nice to me," she added. "I had a shitty week."

She turned to the other girl. "What can I get you, by the by?"

"This is my friend Johnnie," Robin told him, putting a bottle of Blue Label and a glass on the bar. "He's been good to me tonight after this week."

"I slept. Then I meditated. Now it's time to deal with this the way a man who owns a bar should," Jolee said, pouring himself a drink.

Dani's day hadn't gone quite as she'd expected, and she needed something to help her forget the part about thinking she was a talking banana in pajamas. "Scotch, straight up, and make it a double," she ordered.

Jean-Paul had his suitcase with him when he came into the bar. That's right, he was getting drunk and leaving town.

Luckily, unlike airline pilots, the FAA didn't give a damn how drunk he was when he flew.

"Vodka," he said. "And leave the bottle."

"I am certain I cannot imagine why that would be," Jean-Paul said bitchily as he poured himself a drink. He slammed it back and poured another.

Sean was sitting near Jean-Paul, nursing the beer he'd ordered earlier. "The entire bottle? Oh, good Lord, I don't think I want to know why everybody's had such a bad week."

"I spent most of it unconscious, actually," Jean-Paul said, and slammed back another drink. "The waking up was the horrific part."
