Android's Dungeon, Wednesday, 5/13
Sarah supposed that if she was teaching, she didn't technically need to keep up her cover of being at the shop two days a week. But she found her way there anyhow. The paperwork and stock rotation kept her busy, and she supposed she would need to hire someone to replace Teddy someday.
Besides, there was a new edition of the Bitterwoman/Y-Men alternate universe crossover that she had to read.
She put a help wanted sign in the window and took her place behind the counter, comic open in front of her.
[OOC: Open shop, no OCD.]

She passed by a few shops that had signs in the windows for various reasons, but paused when she reached the comics shop. That was her spy games teacher. Someone she could probably learn a lot from.
And, perfect, she was hiring. Claire entered the shop and looked around for a moment before approaching the counter. "Hi, Ms. Walker. I'm Claire Butler, from your Spy Games workshop."

And the girl whose real name might not have always been Claire Butler. That made Claire a shade more interesting to Sarah than she seemed on the surface.
"Can I help you with anything?"

"I haven't been able to hire a girl yet," she added, to see how Claire would react. "I think the comics scare a lot of us away."

"I'll admit I don't know a lot about comics," she said. "But I'm pretty familiar with the Ninth Wonders run."
Given that it was, you know, about her and her family and friends.

"It's mostly a pretty basic job. The store's supposed to be open 9 to 11, but I usually close a little earlier if it's not busy."

"I can manage that," she said, finishing her application and handing it back to Sarah.

Later.
"This looks fine," she said, smiling. "You're hired, Claire. I can pay
handwaveyan hour, if that's okay. Congratulations on your first job."no subject
