Tyler was Not Looking at Ghanima as everyone gathered for Fight Club. Wednesday had been fun, but he mostly felt like the whole encounter was some bizarre dream.

"Evening," he said, jutting his chin. "Welcome to Fight Club, where you can work out whatever frustrations left after this week, if you have any."

"If you have any left, you weren't doing it right," Ghanima said, keeping her face perfectly innocent. "That's what the gym is for, children. Working out frustrations."

If Tyler was going to be five about this, Ghani was just going to pick on him.

Five was probably giving Tyler too much credit. "Working out frustrations and making new friends," he said, finally glancing to the woman. "Sometimes by knocking them over. Fights for this week ... oh, you, you, you and you, it's been a while for you, and -- Ghanima, do your worst on the rest."

"I'll save my worst for another time," she answered, quickly selecting people that complemented each other nicely. "It's no fun if you all know what to expect."

"Now get to it."

With the stretching and the chattering.

The usual punching bags were up, as were the open mats for students to practice, but this week Ghanima was building on last week's Judo lesson by teaching various Muay Thai strikes to anyone who wanted to learn.

Find somebody to smack around.

Because they are there, with extra sexual tension.

Since the club's been running awhile, we figure some of you have characters that you feel are ready for the next step.

Later this week, Ahddie will post new RNG sign-ups in her journal, and next weekend there will be IC evaluations for those of you that want to play them out. We are asking that everyone signs up again, as we've had problems with no-shows in the RNG.

We'd also like your vote on the idea of combining the beginner and intermediate groups for sparring. Both groups are rather small, and we'd love to get more people pinging together. Let us know here in the OOC, as right now this is just an idea we've been kicking around.

We now return you to your normally scheduled (and mostly hormone-free) Fight Club.

Ben was stretching and very carefully not making eye contact with much of anyone.

Ben practically bounded onto the mats. He needed to hit someone, and hard, today. And he knew Arthur could take a punch.

Funny how Arthur was thinking roughly the same thing.

He did have a question, though. "Any good at the staff?"

Hitting people with ~~broom~~sticks was more up his alley today. Ahem.

Arthur was there. He was not going to elaborate otherwise, but he did look slightly relieved to have his name called. For some reason.

Ben nodded. "Tahiri's showed me."

Not that that was someone he really wanted to be dwelling on right now.

Sometimes, you just never realized how sore you were until you stopped. Daisy was definitely taking the time to stretch today.

Annja was glad to hear her name called as she had nothing but frustration from the week. She was glad she hadn't done anything horrifying, but damn it, the tension.

Dinah was definitely, definitely there. Stretching and then looking around for a sparring partner, since her name wasn't called.

Tahiri was more focused on her stretching than usual today, since it meant not having to look at people.

Not looking at people was good.

FYI, I'm holding off on tagging Katchoo in until some point probably late tomorrow morning; there's something that needs to play out before I can determine exactly what her mood is going to be by the time it comes to hitting people. >.>

Jen was going through her warmups a bit more, er, gingerly than normal.

But oh, man, did she ever look happy. Maybe a touch embarrassed, but mostly happy.

Jack was rather bouncy today; he'd had himself a good week. Still, he was making sure he was limber enough for fighting.

Jaina had gone through some mental up and back on whether to show tonight. Not only was she still not really feeling up to fighting and there were people she didn't really want to look in the eye today, but she had a lot of work to catch up on. The way she figured, if she got picked to fight, she'd take it as a way to work on training, and if not, she'd duck out early to spend way too much time on the comm again.

No one worry, she hadn't listened to radio since Wednesday. She really didn't want to.

Not sure if I should be posting here or wait, but I'm out of town next week so no RNG for Jaina.

...I can't believe I missed my RNG.
