Yei, for some reason most likely known only to cats, had deigned to not come with her today, having been fast asleep on her pillow in the dorms when Hinata had bid her a cheerful farewell. She was a bit surprised, as she put a pot of tea on and set out cookies, at how big of a difference the small lack of company made in the store.
Ah well, Hinata thought, there was no arguing with cats after all.
