Last week, Alice had been terribly improper at work (though not nearly so improper as she might have been, considering her mood), and the week before, she and Leto had played a rather adventurous game of croquet. She had a feeling that today was going to be quite dull, in comparison.

Perhaps she would have to invent a new sport, using music discs and sleepy cats ...
