Turtle & Canary -- Thursday

Between the nice temperatures, and the fact that she was in a plain good mood, Maron was all but dancing as she carefully went through the aisles. Checking the stock was sort of boring, but at the same time, it was something that she needed to learn—and how else would she know what they were running out of if she didn’t look.

During her breaks from shelf-stalking (-dancing?) Maron was idly contemplating deer. Teal deer.

Hope really hadn't met any of her coworkers yet, which was why she was doing her shopping on a day that wasn't the day she worked.

"Nope," Hope replied with a shake of her head. "I'm just muddling around. I'll find everything eventually." She grinned. "You'd think that since I work here, I'd know where most of this stuff is. But apparently not."

"Oh my gosh, you work here!" Maron bounced. "That's exciting! Do you like it? I know what you mean, half the stuff is just Somewhere Around and trying to find it means almost getting lost but then you can't get lost because, if you do, you might miss a customer."

And that would be bad.

"I know, right?" Hope made a face. "And if it's not Somewhere Around, then you have to hope it's In The Back, only people think that In The Back is so much bigger than it really is."
