Staff Meeting, Theodoric of York, Friday (after classes)

Even after all her time in Fandom, Zoe still didn't consider herself to be very girly, but that didn't change how she felt about having the staff meeting at the spa. If nothing else, she was hoping that the calming setting would keep those who liked to argue with each other from fighting for one blessed afternoon. Getting to see what the men picked to do with their time had the potential to be entertaining as well, but she wasn't going to admit that.

As everyone arrived, Zoe made sure they gathered quickly in the lobby.

"Good afternoon," she said. "I won't keep you here for long; I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the work you've been doing with the students. Deadpool and I know that the island hasn't exactly been kind over the last few weeks, so we're very grateful that you've all managed to keep your classes going and under control." She was grateful, at least. She had a feeling Deadpool might prefer chaos.

"We have the spa all to ourselves for the rest of the afternoon," she added, "so you're free to go and do as you like."

Mmmm, moddable spa time. All the facilities are open to the teachers, so they can do whatever they want.

With nothing else to do, Loki actually took advantage of the free day at the spa and was currently lounging comfortably in one of the hot tubs. Okay, he could deal with being a teacher if he got to do this kind of shit. Really deal with it.

Daisy was feeling very good after her massage and went to go see how Loki was faring.

"I kind of like this teacher thing," she noted with a very contented smile.

Mitchell had a choice to make; skip out on this and avoid the overdue attention and the likelihood of a lot of mirrors, or try to go out and do something human with his mostly-human colleagues.

That's why he opted for the middle road, taking a spot in the pool that was as far from the windows as possible.

Minsc was in a spa.

There were no words in the history of narrative to describe just how awesome this was.

He considered letting Boo get a pedicure and a nice deep conditioning for his fur, but that would require the employees to touch his hamster, and, well, he just didn't like people touching his hamster.

So he was just going to relax in the spa a little. The water was good for his muscles, of which he had many. He tried the cucumber in the eye thing, but Boo, who was staying very obediently on his shoulders and out of the water, just ate them off.

Since she missed the last one due to alligators, Daisy had vowed that she wouldn't miss out on any more staff meetings, and it was a very good vow, indeed. The deep tissue massage was absolutely heavenly. She was totally loving Friday right now.

Bond was currently taking advantage of the massage tables, and given the way he was flirting intended on taking advantage of the masseuse later and resembled nothing so much as a large, pleased cat as he lay sprawled out along the table.

He hadn't started purring yet though.

Gibbs had reluctantly joined the staff at the spa. Unfortunately the person trying to spell spa services to him was getting an earful.

"No. I don't want a mani or a pedi or a wrap or goop on my face and vegetables over my eyes," he growled. "I just want a haircut. No, I don't want to dye my hair. Are you listening to me?"

Brennan snuggled into her robe and got a pedicure, letting the pedicurist talk her into an orange-red polish in place of her usual pale pink. She held her feet up in the air and wriggled her toes, trying to decide if she liked the effect.

Glinda was in the middle of a seaweed wrap, and was humming to herself. This was exactly what she needed after today's class.

Ghanima was in heaven. There was a massage, and a wrap of some kind, and was currently letting someone fuss over her nails.

Which, admittedly, were short, blunted, and Ghani tended to chew on them when she was writing. The manicure was needed.
