The Gig, Tuesday [6/23]

Ellie groomed and fed the horses as soon as she showed up this morning. After letting them out into the paddock, she settled nearby with her cellphone and debated calling home again. Maybe her dad was home now? In the end, though, she decided not to call. She wasn't in the mood to be disappointed again.

She noticed Kally sticking her head over the fence and wandered over to pet her. It was as though the horse could sense Ellie wasn't exactly herself today.

Jennifer stopped in to The Gig after her classes. Mainly because she knew her friend was working.
