Veronica convinced Piper to leave Lindsey at the apartment for an hour so the two of them could do some actual catching up.

They settled in to a corner table with lots of coffee and muffins for some serious BFF time.

Claire raised her eyebrows. "If you're sure... I just want to keep it from happening to you both."

"If Peter knows he will put himself directly in the middle of it and nobody will be able to convince him not to," Nathan said. He didn't know how much time Claire had spent with Peter so far but he still felt safe in saying, "You know how he is."

"You're right," Claire agreed. "I have told Sam and Dean a little bit too. Because I know they're as invested in keeping Peter safe as we are."

"Sam's keeping it from Peter?" Nathan asked. If that was the case, Nathan approved.

"I have no idea if they've talked about it," Claire admitted.

"If you talk to him before I do, might wanna mention he should keep it under his hat," Nathan said.

"I don't know if Sam will keep something from Peter," Claire said. "But I'll mention it."

Nathan didn't say this often, but in the interest of possibly having help keeping a leash on protecting Peter, he said, "Thank you."

Claire smiled, happy to imagine Peter on a leash help protect Peter. "Of course."
