The Perk; Wednesday Afternoon [ 07/01 ].
It was already July. How was it already July? JULY! So not only did Charlotte have another horrible birthday looming on the horizon, but this gave her so not enough time to really pull this wedding together. Still, Charlotte was determined. Wanting to get out of the apartment to better focus, Charlotte was set up at a table at the Perk, with her laptop and her cell phone and a bunch of other things, hard at work and multitasking, refined to an art over the ears.
And coffee. A lot of, lot of coffee. She had to schedule something for a photo with Dale for an announcement before the invitations went out, she needed to decide on a caterer, arrange for a dress fitting with Anthony, arrange for a dress approving session with the girls because she couldn't exactly leave them entirely to their own devises, and then there was possibly a non-wedding related thing to deal with with trying to decide if she wanted to squeeze in one special showing at the gallery before the big event, just because.
Work, work, work! But she loved it, and she considered herself interruptable, too. Always time to talk to other people.

But limping from the lighthouse to here had taken it's toll, so he decided to sit down for a bit and see who might be about. He sank into a chair not far from Charlotte.

"Wedding stuff," she said, her face instantly lighting up with a happy smile. "In a week, it'll only be a month!"

"Good afternoon, Charlotte," she greeted.

Charlotte simply did not believe in toning certain things down, really.
