Caritas; Saturday Evening

After spending the afternoon getting, ah, familiar with his scarf in the Biblical sense, Chuck decided to give Marion the night off and open up Caritas himself. It would give his scarf something to do that didn't involve sex and it would give him a chance to recover from the last few days. His face still hurt like a bitch.

"Chuck, Chuck? Can I play with Tino?"

Chuck placed his glass of scotch over his eye and gave his scarf a smile. "No, scarf. You don't know where that's been."

"Can you and I have sex again then?"

"Later, I promise."

"She's my 67 impala," Dean said proudly.

"You're in love with your car?" Bones wondered if he should tell Dean the story of how Jim drove an antique car off a cliff for fun when he was a kid. Nah. It might give him a heart attack.

"She's a classic," Dean said. "And look at her," he gestured at Impala. "She's awesome. She is even when she's not human."

Since Impala was technically older than he was, Bones had no problem with appreciating her. Jim wasn't around to see Bones being a pervert so it was fine.

"She's easy on the eyes, yes," Bones agreed. Why did he get stuck with the old guy?

Impala smiled at him. "I like you," she told him. "Even if you are cranky."

"Thanks," Bones said. The hypo just started to laugh. "You be quiet or I'm going to leave you with Spock."

That got the old guy to shut up quickly.

"Maybe one day, you can get Dean to take you for a spin in me," Impala invited. "And you'll get to see what I really can do."

"I wouldn't mind that. Don't get much of a chance to be in cars since I work in space," he said. For some reason he was always more comfortable in cars than he was in spaceships.

"You haven't really lived till you take a ride in my Baby," Dean enthused, casting her a fond a look. "Best car that ever existed!"

"You sound like Jim when he talks about the Enterprise," Bones noted. "You don't insist people call you Captain, do you?"
