Pixie Dust, Friday

Friday morning, Jenny dragged her head out from under the pillow long enough to remember she ran a store now and should probably...do that once in a while. So here she was, looking somewhat hungover, because she was, and like there were about even odds she'd help a customer or bite their head off.

There was a Now Hiring sign in the window.

Pixie Dust was open.

Oh, good, a clothing store. Elena's stash of casual outfits (translation: anything that wasn't a black suit) was pitifully low, and this seemed like as good a time as any to fix that. She was going to hope that a store named 'Pixie Dust' wasn't going to be too ... frilly or pink. But it seemed to have a fairly good selection, at that.

She nodded to the other girl, frowning a bit sympathetically at the telltale signs. "Rough morning?"

"I'd offer you a little hair of the dog," she said easily, "but all my liquor's back in the cabins."

"An actual pixie?" Elena asked, raising an eyebrow. "I would have thought the name was metaphorical, which is a fairly stupid assumption for this island, now that I think about it."

She stopped abruptly to look at Jenny. "Do I know you?" she asked. There was something ridiculously familiar about the other girl, but she couldn't say for certain what.

"I might be confusing you for someone else," Elena said, taking the other girl's hand. "Elena. I wish I knew where --"

The voice, that was it. And that was when the name clicked. Elena laughed. "Jenny. Wait. Are you that Jenny? Booze-and-News? Abuse, drunkenness, and an insane Turk as your co-host?"

"Oh, now I'm really sad I didn't bring any liquor," Elena grinned. "I promised myself I'd find a way to buy you a drink, some day. Rude got several of the podcasts and loved playing them in the office. He said it was the perfect way to torment the boss, with Reno away at school and all."
