Support Services Meeting: The Park, Friday afternoon

Francine's posters were back up at the picnic tables, in case anyone had forgotten where the meeting should be, and by all appearances, Morgana looked to be in a very good mood. Pretending that yesterday never happened had to make it true, didn't it?

"One of the most important aspects of any good group is teamwork," she said, once everyone had settled down. "None of us are as good alone as we are together, which means that we need to make certain that we can communicate with each other. Sometimes, verbal communication can be difficult. You might be stuck somewhere in hiding where you have to stay quiet. Or you might be in a situation where if you speak, you'll begin singing embarrassing songs." Horribly, terribly embarrassing songs. "We've got a game of sorts for everyone to play today where non-verbal communication is the key." She had a feeling that at least some people wouldn't mind doing something silent.

Arthur was there.

Arthur was not playing any games.

Especially not since Arthur had to be down at the radio station for the staff meeting in a short while. So he was just lurking near the back, as per usual.

Claire had a yellow lab puppy with her when she showed up for the meeting today. The puppy whined at her until she fed him a cookie.

Busy, busy afternoon! Turtle came by to get cookies and soda and hopefully get some stuff in for the Support Meeting before the Radio Meeting.

And maybe hoping to show off her hair a little, although she'd admit to herself that she was feeling a little self-conscious about it.

What Shilo meant to say upon seeing Turtle was, in order, "Hi! WOW! Look at your hair! It looks great!"

However, the surprise of seeing the new style turned it into the single phrase "Hiwhoayourhair!"

Really, it just rolled off the tongue.

Mirax had seen the posters the first week, but had so far been more worried about getting settled in things before starting something new. So this week she came down to the meeting to check it out, deciding to hang out and watch for a while.

She then began the first part of the word by pretending to laugh in a small polite way.

Francine went for something a little shorter than word-by-word - they were trying to convey ideas, more than anything else, after all -- so she started off by surreptitiously (well, mock-surreptitiously) pointing at Morgana, then making circular pointy motions towards her own head. The loopy kind.
