Morgan's Hardware - Wednesday, 07/22
Morgan liked to think he was a reasonably intelligent man. He liked to think that he had a reasonable temper, that he was friendly and decent, and that he had a good understanding of how computers worked.
"Mother !@#$ing Vista!"
...Morgan's printer did not agree with him on at least two of these points.
"What do you want? You want me to sing? You can sing, and not save any of my files, but you won't recognize my printer. Great. Just great."
Morgan's Hardware and Repair
Home improvement supplies - Plumbing - Electrical Work
Painting - Custom Carpentry - Installation
Still Hiring! Discounts and Training Available!
The store was open, even if the owner was in the back office, wondering how it would feel to tackle Bill Gates.

RLThings kept getting in her way for that, but she found the time in the space between office hours and station hours to at least swing by and say hi.She came into the store and got momentarily distracted by ooh shiny electrical wires before calling out with a "Hullo?"

"I'm-- hey," and the smile was less frantic and more interested, "Constable Day. What brings you by?"

"I've got enough on my plate. Unlike some people, I'm not actually on annual leave. Between this place, the house I'm working on here, and BAU paperwork? I'm full up."

Well, that did provide a certain explanation why he'd thought to go to the station for information when he first got her.

He looked over the counter to make sure it was neat.
"You were expecting a suit?"

She said the last bit with a reverence that if it was indeed classified, then it was the end of that and she'd leave it with respect.

"I'm here to look out for a friend, actually. Pulling the telecommute to do it, since the team all agreed it'd be best if someone was watching out for him."
He leaned his head in the vague direction of the school.
"He's teaching up at the school, some kinda course on strategy games."
And if you asked Morgan, he needed the leave.

And that she said with the sort of amused shock that she was suddenly someone who actually had office hours. Her parents were truly proud; they wanted her to be a lecturer like them, and not a cop.

And the view only improved when Daisy smiled. That helped too.
"His name's Reid, Spencer Reid. You see somebody rocking the librarian look, long blond hair, can't imagine handing him a gun?" Though that wasn't entirely fair, since he knew Reid knew how to shoot that thing. Now. "You found him."

He glanced back at the office, looked over at Daisy, and finally shrugged.
"You want something to drink? I've got some pop back here in a cooler since I've been working."

"It's a fine figure," he said with a spread of his hands. An entirely appropriate spread of his hands.
"I can't blame you for wanting to keep it. But I'll see you around, Detective Constable? Daisy?"
no subject
"Ta, I'm pretty fond of it myself," she said, and she nodded. "Daisy. At the moment. Hopefully more Daisy than Detective Constable. I'll let you get back to your work, but I might have to start up a project so I've got a reason to come back and check out," him, but she pointed toward some wiring, "what you've got in electrical here a little closer."
no subject
"Take care now."
