Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Thursday
Algren was actually in an almost pleasant mood today as he opened up the Wellspring Arms. It was difficult to say if he'd just happened to get up on the right side of the bed today, or if horrors that were burned into his mind all to recently had finally begun to fade, but either way? He was going about cleaning around the store efficiently... And he wasn't even scowling!
What he wasn't telling anyone, for fear of jinxing it, was that he was just relieved that the worst that the island had thrown at him recently was a day of humming.
Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center is open!

Talk To Algren
Re: Talk To Algren
Of course, the husky hurtling himself down the stairs ahead of his master probably had other plans.
Plans that involved Algren's feet.
Re: Talk To Algren
Which Algren was actually fine with. It wasn't a zombie, it wasn't an alligator, and it wasn't a gremlin, and so his reaction, after the initial moment of shock, was a faint grin as he bent over to offer Tether a friendly pat on the head.
"Well, good day to you, too."
Re: Talk To Algren
"Morning," Cable called, stepping down the stairs.
Re: Talk To Algren
"It is that," he agreed, nodding faintly as he glanced up toward Cable. "And how is it treating you so far?"
Re: Talk To Algren
Tether leaned into all the scratching. This was why he loved the store, honestly.
Re: Talk To Algren
He was paranoid, yes. And a firm believer that this island existed for the sole purpose of attempting to break the minds of the people residing upon it. Why?
Re: Talk To Algren
"Some of the students would argue with you that that 'musical Thursday' was definitely the worst," he said, wryly, "An enemy is easier if you can hit it..."
Re: Talk To Algren
Sure, he could have hit them, but he would just as soon the dead choose to remain as such.

"Hey, Nathan. How's work?"
Re: Talk To Algren
There was a wry sort of note in his tone that suggested that he was actually quite alright with the idea.
"And how have you been lately? No more antics with a neckerchief?"
Re: Talk To Algren
He looked at the display case again. "So you work in more a weapons museum than a gun store."
Re: Talk To Algren
There was something the matter with that. He'd have to speak to Triela about perhaps starting the Girls With Guns Club up again in the fall.
Re: Talk To Algren
"What's in London?"
Re: Talk To Algren
"London was..." He furrowed his brow a little as he thought back to his excursion with Wilhelmina and Minsc. "It was messy. Another case of Fandom snatching unsuspecting individuals off and flinging them at an alternate world, I should hope. Unless in this reality, there just happened to be a massive alien invasion on London about a century ago that I haven't had the pleasure of reading about quite yet."
Re: Talk To Algren
He was not, apparently, above recounting Sampsons plots as gospel to his poor time-displaced colleague.
"I'm gonna guess everyone got back okay?"

OOC
As an early birthday present to myself, I finally got around to uploading a meditation icon. I now have an icon suited to all of my Wellspring OCD! Hurrah!

Well, it'd be a shame if the world had to go on without us, man.
