The Preserve, Wednesday Afternoon

It was a subdued Merlin who spoke to the reserve this week. The events of last week may have had something to do with it, may have not.

"Today we'll look into preparing for events like those that just occured. For those of us sensitive to feelings or dreams of the future, perhaps we ought to start writing them down when they occur and just what happened in them," He said quietly.

"Asside from that, storing up anything we can to assist the other groups now would probably help in case we are the actual target of--something of that sort. If you have any ideas, please, share them with Karla or myself." A beat. "When she's here."

"Yeah, we did, really. Not fun, not by a long shot, but. Those people over there are safe now, and the vampires are dead. Can't really say I'd want to undo that," Dinah said, thinking. "I still love this place. Even if that was way darker and more intense than I want to experience again, in oh, ever."

"I can't imagine what it was like for them either. The non-vampires, I mean. I'm sure they're grateful it's all over now."

"The Other Karla looked half-starved. I hope they held a celebration, or something, after. And had a lot to eat." More doughnut nibbling. "And naps." She smiled at Eleanor. "Tell me something fun that happened here while I was asleep? Even if you have to lie."

Eleanor tried to recall what went on last week besides the concern, worry and research for those stuck in that other Fandom. She wasn't coming up with much.

"I think I finally figured out who my story's character is for Professor Castle's class. And a story to actually write."

The only thing Eleanor felt she knew enough about to write was things that had happened in her home, but she wasn't comfortable writing about herself. So she chose the next best thing.

"Reggie," she said with a sigh. "My friend back home. His is an interesting story, I think."

And in this way she could remain as a background character.
