Loki looked like the fucking maintenance woman. No, scratch that, Loki looked the maintenance woman who'd fucking lived here for awhile but with blonde hair. This sort of shit was not supposed to fucking affect him. He was a fucking angel with fucking powers and he was not supposed to randomly changed what type of vessel he was using.

"Fucking goddamn shitheaded piece of shit island," Loki said, grumpily sitting behind the counter for no good besides the fact that, if he was out in public, maybe he could mess with people's minds.

Still.

"This fucking body isn't the one I signed up for," he said, looking down at his expanded chest. "But the tits are kind of fucking nice."

Okay, so it wasn't all bad.

Tyler's running shoes were much too big for him, even with tissues stuffed in the toes, so he was sprouting an awesome blister by the time his circuit took him past MHA. He limped on in -- Loki had to keep a first aid kit around somewhere, right?

"Uh, hey," he told the pretty-but-fragile-looking blonde chick behind the counter. "Do you know if Loki's around somewhere today?"

Loki almost asked if this chick was fucking blind, he was Loki but then he remembered he was not looking like himself today.

"He's sleeping one off," he said, taking care not to curse to see how long he could pull off this ruse. "Long night and all. I kept him up."

There was a bit where she looked at Loki and then at Ronon and then back and forth a couple of times.

Ronon didn't know why he was making the mistake of leaving his basement when weird stuff was going on, but he was lightly armed and dressed in some modified homespun and leather.

"Yeah, Pepper moved out," he remarked, eyebrow up.

Joan was out running errands and buying supplies for tomorrow's party. Since her errands took her past MHA, she decided to stop in and say hello to Loki.

Only Loki didn't appear to be there. Unless...

She kind of stared at the woman. "So Fandom weirdness affects angels?"

Max, having discovered that a large number of men in Fandom suddenly weren't, had decided to go on a quest. It was a simple one, really. He was going to see if he could find, and ogle commiserate with, as many as he could. Even if commiseration generally meant you shared something with the person in question. But Max was flexible with such definitions.

Anyway, he'd met Loki that once, and they'd talked about sparring sometime, so... he had a really good reason to look the other guy up. That, or he was willing to accept the flimsiest excuse.

Oh, hey, someone he hadn't met yet was behind the desk. Loki could totally wait. "Hey, there."

Daisy was, of course, on her way to the station that morning, but far be it from her to take at least a brief moment to greet the civilians, even ones who associated with Tony Bloody Stark. Because they also dated her boss.
