So strange that the summer should be nearly ended. She'd been attending this school for well over a year, and a year from now, she'd be gone. And she'd hadn't even finished the alphabet yet, much less explored all there was to know of this era's music.

If she really were to go to Arrakis ... Alice wondered what sort of music one could find, there. Among other strange tendrils of thought curling round her mind.

While he was out and about, Dean ducked into Groovy Tunes to check up on one of his little siblings. "So what's on the musical menu today?" he asked with a smile, as he came up to the counter.

"Some group calling itself UNKLE," Alice said, giving Dean a big smile. "All in capital letters, and with a K. It seems a rule that bands enjoy misspellings. Particularly ones that involve Ks or Zs."
