Support Services: The Park, Friday after classes

"I hope everybody had a.. um. Relaxing Friday last week," said Francine, perched on a picnic table at the front of the main shelter.

"Since we're all back to normal...ish now, maybe it would be a good time to talk about what we can do to help when stuff like this happens, too. It's not all about invasions or supporting the troops, after all! Sometimes the island throws stuff at everybody that's hard to deal with."

Arthur would normally not have taken any, but he remembered Francine's lemon bars.

He was ergo doing his lurking thing in a far more munchy way this week. Morgana was not allowed to say a word.

Oooh lemon bars were yummy. Claire was nibbling on one.

Where there were baked goods, there was Gabrielle, whose audible reaction to the lemon bars, as she nibbled her way through . . . don't ask how many, could have been as per canon's apparent dictates interpreted in a very non-innocent way.

Ooo, lemon bars.

Priestly had his usual array of sandwiches with him, as well. If no one ate them, he could always drop 'em off at the theater for Geoffrey.

Ah, support services. So good for supporting Turtle's stomach. She sighed happily as she nibbled a lemon bar.

"We can put various types of animal feed in the stables for animal transformations," Layla suggested. "And kids clothes, toys and books in the first floor activity room for when people become wee or children from alternate universes come to visit."

Claire nodded. "Those are all good ideas. And maybe a list of people who can help identify you when you're all animal-fied? Some of the psychic types who would realize that, oh hey, that puppy following me around is my boyfriend?"

"And people who can speak in animal languages," Layla agreed. "It would save a lot of aggravation for the transformed people."

Priestly had actually been thinking about this a bit, himself. "Maybe a, like, 'perspective sheet' or something? Or signs that say 'so you've changed genders. Relax, at least you're not a zombie!'" He frowned. "Of course, we'd probably have to take 'em down if zombies attacked again. But, you know, for in the meantime."

"It does seem as though there are many things more worrisome than waking up as the wrong gender. At least then, you can still communicate, unlike when you've become an animal," Morgana said.

"I did okay as a chameleon, too, though. Of course, it helped that Dinah was, like, right there when it happened." He shrugged. "But, oh, hey, I heard about this one kid who turned into a plate of brownies."

Morgana was there and not at all still snickering about Arthur as a girl. Really!

"Don't," Arthur called. At an unguarded time.

He could read her mind, dammit.

"What you're doing," Arthur said, sanely (kind of. sort of), "It's been a week."

"I am doing nothing but thinking," Morgana replied. And smirking. There was quite a bit of smirking.

"Well," Arthur returned, succinctly - this was his I'm not amused face, "Stop it."
