Turtle & Canary - Sunday

Hard to believe it was the end of another semester. This time next week, the place would be crawling with new arrivals. Which meant he'd better get to ordering in some more school supplies.

G'Kar sat behind the counter, busily filling out order forms while Apu mopped the aisles and polished the robots.

It was certainly a productive looking day.

He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich

Turtle had not checked in with G'Kar in way, way, way, way, way too long, but she had some time before Fight Club and decided to remedy that ~~although the mun apologizes if she falls into unexpected SP again~~.

"Hello, G'Kar! How's it going?"

He looked up and smiled. "It is going quite well! What a pleasure to see you, Turtle! I was just preparing the for influx of new residents," he said, pointing down to the order form.

"Excellent!" Turtle immediately grinned to see it. "Make sure to really stock up on school supplies, too. It'll be the school year proper. And order some extra green glitter for me, too, while you're at it. I know I'm going to be needing it. "

"Most certainly!" he jotted down for a large vival of green glitter to be added. "Are you looking forward to the new semester?"

"Of course!" Turtle smiled, though there was a soft breath, too, excitement, but a nervous kind. "It's the first semester of my last year! There's going to be so much going on, and I can already feel, it'll be really good!"

It...better be really good. "Are you? I mean, it probably means a lot more to me since I'm actually going to school and everything, but you're probably excited about all the new people still."

"I am, of course, always eager to encounter new people. The diversity of worlds and timelines is still fascinating. Who knows what worlds I'll hear about this time?"

"Not to mention the number of people I could be their first alien encounter for. Tis always a pleasure to let them know that indeed, there are other species out there."

Which was G'Kar's way of saying that he enjoyed freaking people out with spots.

But the spots were so cool! They were like freckles on speed!

Turtle grinned. "I'll bet. I might need to get some more party supplies; Joan and I decided to try another Multi-Cutural Fair for the school this semester, since it went so well last time, and, you're right, meeting new, different people is fun. I'm always a little sad that the best I have to offer about where I come from is cheese, but, I mean, come on. Cheese!"

"It is quite good," he agreed. "I am rather fond of it myself. And I would enjoy participating once again. I thought it was a wonderful success."

(sorry for the massive delay. school sucked me away)

"Really?" Turtle asked, beaming. "Thank, G'Kar! It'll be great to have you there again, too."
