The Beach / September 2 / Wednesday, Sunset

Azula looked around the beach. This was where she and Dinah would spar and while Azula was certain what the outcome of the match would be Azula liked being prepared. She studied the terrain with a practiced eye. The sand was compact and firm enough to walk on and there were few rock formations around the area.

She walked around the beach until she was familiar with the terrain.

The sun was setting and she could feel some of her power ebb away as it slowly made it vanished. Unlike other Firebenders the day turning into night didn't mean her power was considerably lessened it actually only meant her fire was now at par with that of a regular Firebender.

She crouched into a Kung-fu Firebending stance and proceeded to move through the forms only this time she let her fire loose. Every punch and kick brought with it a corresponding blue flame. Agni, she missed this.

Zayne was getting some exercise in, jogging around the island when he came across the girl who seemed to be training. He started to slow down as he approached, watching with some interest. "Good evening!" he called out as he got a little closer.

"I'm sorry, I didn't really mean to interrupt," Zayne said halting his jog. "Were you training?"

"I don't that often, but the island's only so big. Sometimes you need a change of scenery," Zayne said. "I'm Zayne, by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Azula," Zayne said. "What kind of training was that? I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that with fire before."

"You're probably right," Zayne said. "I know I've never seen blue fire like that coming out of someone's fist."

"That makes sense. If I shot fire out of my hands, people would definitely take notice," Zayne said. "And then they'd follow me around with water because I'd accidentally set something on fire eventually."

It's possible that Zayne missed that the important thing was the color of the flame.
