Even though he seems more interested in outside.

Turtle ~~who loooooved her SP anyway~~ hadn't gotten much of a chance to check up on any of her employees lately except for Apu because he was always there and Maron because she lived with her, so she swung by in some time before she had to get ready for her and Leto's business meeting to see Kyle.

"Hi, Kyle! How's it going?"

"Hey Turtle," Kyle greeted. "It's going okay." He lowered his voice. "Apu won't stop talking about someone named Shiva."

"One of the Hindu gods, I think," Turtle said, lowering both voice and head. "He does that sometimes, but it's usually Ganesha with me. There's a shrine of that one in the employee room. What's he saying?"

"I stopped listening an hour ago," Kyle admitted. "It all went over my head anyway."

"In that case," Turtle grinned, "I wouldn't worry about it. Usually, you don't have to unless he's yelling. And, well, typically, I just remind him that I'm the boss, and that gets him to stop, but you can just tell him that the boss'll hear about this. Maybe shake your fist a little, too."

And Turtle, dedicatedly, demonstrated.

"Threaten him with the wrath of Turtle," Kyle said, getting it. "I'll bet that'll keep him quiet."

"Just you wait," Turtle said with a nod. "He's been working with me long enough to know. But, other than Apu being...Apu, how're things? Classes, and all that stuff?"

"They're okay. Wish I could be doing more. Once a week doesn't seem like enough."

"What all are you taking?" Turtle asked.

"Sex Ed, Anyone Can Cook and Ethics," he rattled off automatically. "And on the weekend I work here, do the library and then Fight Club."

"Not a bad schedule," Turtle said, smirking in approval. "A few things on there, that's good."

"Not much combat training," he pointed out. "I need to work on that."

Turtle nodded a little. "That's why I'm picking up swordplay this semester," she said. "That's all really new to me, but there's still gun club, if you want to check it out. I've learned a lot through that, but even if you're already good with a gun, it's good to keep honed."

"Swords aren't any use to me, but gun club might be. When is it?"

"I don't think they'll be of much use for me, either," Turtle admitted, "but it doesn't hurt to try. And gun club's Wednesday after classes. I'm sure Triela wouldn't mind you stopping in to check it out if you're interested."

Kyle nodded and was going to give it some thought. "Thanks, Turtle."

Availability for me is scarce today. SP is king (though King like Elvis in that it has more of an honorary title than any governing power).
