Pizza Planet, Saturday Evening
Leto had suggested pizza for his dinner with Turtle, and she hadn't objected to this choice. So here they were, seated at a table and looking through the menus. Of course, this was a business dinner, so Leto assumed she was going to persuade him to vote for her later, but that would most likely provide entertaining conversation. Despite this being merely a business dinner, he had dressed up a little, although perhaps Turtle wouldn't be familiar enough with Arrakeen fashions to notice. He wasn't wearing a hat, after all.
"So, what would you like?" he asked, smiling at Turtle over the menu.

Really.
"Bacon," she decided, because, no, there could never be enough bacon in one's life. "Bacon and pepperoni, maybe extra cheese. That's probably my favorite. But you should pick, Leto. I grew up with pizza; they didn't really have it where you're from, to my recollection."

"Cheesy bread," she decided with a nod. "You can't really call it a pizza dinner without the cheesy bread, too."

Not that he could really imagine Turtle being very peaceful, but still.
"I've had a quiet week. My roommate returned after some strange adventure. My classes seem interesting. I've spoken to some friend. Nothing out of the ordinary."

The waiter brought their root beers.
"I didn't mean to ask for a confession, but some mistakes are suitable for dinner conversations," he continued, then sipped the drink and made an odd face.

And then she quirked an eyebrow at the look on Leto's face.
"It's an acquired taste?" she offered.

Then he made a sudden change of topic: "I brought a gift for you."

"And, yeah, different universe-slash-dimension thingwhat'dyoubringagiftfor?"
Yeah, it kind of jumbled together in the end, there."

He placed a small box wrapped in gold paper on the table.

"So you're saying it's a trap?"
