The Streets of Fandom

Tully put up flyers around town extending an invitation to all and sundry.

PLEASE JOIN ME IN CELEBRATING THE REIGNITING
OF THE SOUL OF THE FANDOM ISLAND LIGHT.
ON FRIDAY EVENING THE FULLY ARMED AND OPERATIONAL RESTORED
LIGHTHOUSE WILL HOST A SUNSET BEACH PARTY/BBQ
GOOD FOOD, AND DRINK AS THE RESTORED LIGHT SHINES OVER THE ISLAND ONCE MORE.

Later, the flyers sported the word Island crossed out in the last sentence, and the word BAY written underneath.

Jack walked down the street munching from a bag of chips. He stared at a flyer thoughtfully, tapped it with a greasy finger, and raised an eyebrow at Tully. "Does it shine over the water, too?"

"That's good," Jack replied. "I just meant, a lighthouse that shines over the land instead of the water is kind of weird, and I was hoping you just phrased that wrong." He shrugged. "Or maybe you people do things differently in Fandom. Who am I to judge?"

Jack smirked. "Nah, you're okay. Barbecue, huh? What're you barbecuing?"
