Caritas; Wednesday Evening

Between the fact that he didn't usually work tonight (or any night, for that matter) and the fact that he had a very interesting (and oh so fun) afternoon, Chuck almost forgot to come in. Not that Tino would have known the difference. Chuck barely worked while he was in there anyway.

If Tino had bothered pointing this out, Chuck would point out in return that he was the boss and bosses didn't have to work if they didn't want to. So there.

Adora needed a drink. Her Sword of Protection was non-responsive to her will and Spirit had laughed at her for a half hour. She was very glad to see a friend working the bar. "Chuck! It is so good to see a friend!"

That was an understatement.

"Thank you, Chuck!" That actually brightened her night and her handsome smile. "I like to think my brother is quite attractive, as do all the people of Etheria. Waking up with a familiar face was a bonus to this curious day."

After talk about a night out with Layla this morning and... well, the rest of her day, the idea of going out, and drinking, and testing out just what her alcohol tolerance was like as a guy was sounding better and better.

Mina, dressed in a suit, stepped into the bar and smiled.

She had to admit, being this tall and built felt empowering. She sat down at the bar.

"And what all is on the menu?" she asked.

"Well almost every alcohol imaginable," Chuck said. "And whatever Tino feels like cooking."

The really nice thing about looking like this was that Elena seemed to have inherited Rufus's attitude. It was too easy to fall into being the proud, arrogant President, the spoiled brat who knew exactly how impressive he was.

Also, it gave her anonymity. If she somehow fucked up, looked like an idiot? Run off before anyone would ever know it was her.

That was an un-Rufus thought, so she banished it from her mind. Instead, she eyed Chuck with a leer, adjusted her cufflinks, and nodded.

"Scotch," she said, in a low voice. "Evening."

"Evening," Chuck said. A bottle of scotch happened to be right beside Chuck so he was pretty quick about pouring a second one. "You normally a boy or are you just having a weird day?"

Harper was trying to contain her excitement, but she couldn't help grinning from ear to ear as she spotted Eric. "This is one of those days that I totally live for," she said, still amused by how deep her new voice was.

If you're going for the one-word theme, someone way-back-when (Bridge, I think?) suggested "Strip," meaning both "drop your character and be OOC" as well as "flash me with some hot naked icons."

Which Faith abused for the rest of her time as bartender >.>
