Claire was grateful to be at work today. She was grateful to still be in Fandom in general. After getting all the new stock out and making sure the store was neat and tidy, she was hanging out behind the counter trying to think of ways to thank Jack and Principal Winchester for their help.

Jon was a happy camper as he wandered into the comic shop that day. Claire was still around, which meant the weekend had gone great.

"Hey, how bad did your mom freak out?"

"She calmed down a lot after dinner," Claire said. "Whatever Principal Winchester said helped a lot and I'm pretty sure Jack tipped the scales in my favor. They are both so getting fruit baskets."

"That is great," Jon said just before giving her a quick kiss. "Order Jack a beer basket. With a bunch of local microbrews. He'll like that."

"I'll see if I can find one," she said with a nod. "Did Teal'c enjoy his visit?"

"Of course he did. And he took home lots of blackmail material. Not that our Jack will know where the hell it came from, but hey..."

Girl!Jack on the boat was going to be worth the price of gold.

Claire laughed. "Better hope your Jack doesn't retaliate."

"He's welcome to try, but I have Teal'c and Danny on my side." And they wouldn't give him up.

"Of course, to keep it fair, I had to give up some pics of me as a girl..."

Sam would just love that.

"Very true! But also so that they can claim to have blackmail on me as well."

"Oh, just wait until the first time he ends up gremlin bit. I'll be emailing the video back to the SGC."

He was not above any sort of evilness.

Claire snickered. "I tried to convince Teal'c to give me some dirt on you but he wouldn't."

"On me-me? You'd have to ask Sam or the Jack from my universe. Danny might if he's distracted, or you have something really good in return. On Jack, not a chance."

Yes, he was telling her this, mostly to see if she could get anything out of them.

Claire laughed. "Now you're making me think there's nothing interesting to learn."

"Well, really? There isn't." Just, you know, some fights and suspensions.

"You know? I don't really have any either," she said. "Clearly this means we need to get in some trouble together."

"Clearly! Any ideas?" And they really should discuss this where squirrels couldn't hear.

Jon smirked. "Oh, I've got plenty ideas."

Jon grabbed a scrap piece of paper and scribbled a few ideas, doing his best to keep them covered so only Claire could see.

Jello in the shower heads
Nair in the guys shampoo bottles
Itching powder in the beds

Claire glanced over them and shrugged. "I was thinking something more scandalous."

"Well, no," she admitted. "I think the first few times should be not in public."

There was probably a good risk on Jon's eyeballs falling out of his head right now, but he recovered quickly.

"Yeah, I agree. So, gremlins in the principal's office or the next teacher's meeting?"

Claire tilted her head at him. "Really? You're just going to let that go?"

Because, yeah, she had been thinking about it.

"No, but I thought you might want to talk about it somewhere other than work?"

He had been thinking about it too, he just didn't expect it to come up now.

"Fair enough. But... we should talk about it soon."

"Um, yeah. We could do that one night this week. Just, stay in and watch a movie and talk?"

Claire nodded. "Dinah's usually out on Wednesdays and Thursdays."

"Wednesday? Since I work Thursday." And that way he'd actually be thinking about work while at work.
