Covent Garden Flowers, Wednesday, 10/8
Dinah was trying to cheer herself up from various things by putting chrysanthemums in her hair. Then decided to take that to flower crowns, maybe some wreaths. It kept her busy and from anything resembling brooding. That was so not her.

She rolled her eyes. "Do you have a book with different gift baskets?" she asked. "I want to send something in thanks to both of them."
[ooc: got permission for a book of specialty gift baskets! :D]

"Good afternoon, Dinah," she said, carrying in the little tray that smelled very caffeinated indeed.

"Thank you," and she took it, putting the coffee down.
"My aunt fixed some things. Gave me some news. You know, family stuff."
She tipped her chin to the drinks.
"One's for you, if you want it."

She picked up the one coffee, which had a bit of milk and not much else, and sipped at it. Food was such a useful prop.
"And the weird thing with my emotions. Kind of. She could only do so much. Apparently my other aunt and my mom should have asked her to help to do it right."

Another convenient sip.
"As for that stuff, I don't know. It's just easier now." Which wasn't necessarily a good thing, considering, but denial, it wasn't just a river in Egypt. Fiona hadn't even gotten around the enormity of what Dallas had told her of the Council's actions. She was so not ready to tell anyone else. Still too raw.
"No one's showed me how to do that stuff. Probably for the best."
Though she had something of an instinctive talent for it, not that she ever practiced. She probably should, but that was going to take a direct order from Uncle Aaron.
Er, another one.
...the fear, it was there for a good reason!

She stuck a few more blossom in the wreath, and reaching for another vine to hold it together. "Oh, that reminds me, next month? When that market gets set up in the park again? You have to go with me to Spider's stall. He has all this cool old stuff there, I got the best retro sunglasses there. Plus an old 45 vinyl for Priestly. I keep forgetting to give that to him."
