Fandom Fight Club - Atlas Gym - Sunday Evening

"Well now, this is a much smaller crowd that last week," Ghanima said as she surveyed the people assembled in the gym, Tyler silently ~~and moddedly~~ standing beside her. "So much so, that I don't think we need to assign pairs."

"Since much of our membership seems to have absconded in honor of break week, everyone take a turn and go to it."

Elena was here. Wow, she hadn't expected the mass desertion to be this huge.

At the same time, she was enjoying the "ghost town" effect. Maybe she was weird.

Arya was there, wondering where everyone had gotten off to. It was... odd, to say the least.

Calvin didn't trust vacation trips (with good reason), so there he was at Fight Club.

For those who want to work on their form.

Pick someone and hit them!

Elena cracked her knuckles and looked around hopefully. Somebody? Anybody?

Calvin waved sheepishly at Elena. "Uh, hey."

"Hi," Elena said, giving him a ready smile. "Weird seeing this place so deserted, isn't it?"

Calvin nodded. "It's like something out of a horror film," he said. "Any moment there could be a horde of the ravening undead sweeping through the streets."

Luckily, Calvin had a zombie plan all thought out. A velociraptor plan too.

"I'll totally be on the roof, with a sniper rifle, if that happens," she decided.

She planned on hanging out on the roof anyway, enjoying the peace and quiet. No reason not to bring a sniper rifle. Just in case.

"I'll be somewhere the zombies aren't," Calvin said. "While Hobbes takes care of them."

After all, tigers trumped zombies every time.

"Seems like it'd be a better plan to keep Hobbes near you," Elena said. "If he's off taking care of the zombies, and you're hiding out, some of them might find you, and then what?"

Turks sometimes played bodyguard. It was hard to turn off tactical analysis.

Calvin hadn't thought about that. "I won't bee too far from him," he said after a moment. "Just far enough that the zombies can't get me easily."

"Good thinking," Elena nodded. "And if you get separated from him, you can always find me on the roof."

"With your sniper rifle."

"With my sniper rifle," Elena laughed. "And probably my laptop, in case there aren't zombies and I get bored."

"And a good internet connection," Calvin added. "Just because it's the zombie apocalypse doesn't mean you should be cut off from the latest news. Even if it's mostly 'braaaaaaaaaaaaaains'."

"By the way, how likely is the zombie apocalypse?" Elena asked. "I'm used to crazy people trying to end the world, but they're not usually zombies."

"Judging by the how many zombie movies there have been lately, I'd say pretty likely," Calvin said. "It could be worse though, it could be the sparkledammerung. It involves sparkling monsters."

"Don't count out the pretty ones," Elena warned. "Scariest fucker I know had long silvery hair that girls loved to swoon over. There were entire fan clubs set up for him, before he turned psycho."

"Well, the girls swooning should have been your first clue," Calvin said, rolling his eyes. "Never trust anything a girl'll swoon over. It's probably evil."

"I'm going to hope you're anti-swooning and not generally anti-girl," Elena grinned. "Otherwise, I'm really going to kick your ass, when we get around to fighting."

"Not since middle-school," Calvin replied. "And any exceptions are truly deserving of it."

"I won't hold that against you," she promised. "Plenty of my sex deserves it, and besides, we were all insufferable brats in middle school. Or at least, that's what I tell myself to feel better about how awful I was."

"Actually, I was a perfect angel."

Yup, sure he was.

"Has anyone ever believed that?" Elena laughed.

They're both around.

Tyler was around, and sprawled out on a mat doing stretches.

He might claim it was yoga. Really it was being lazy.
